During the afternoon and evening, several reports have been received that young people have fired fireworks. Among other things, the police have been to Brandkärr in Nyköping as well as Nyfors and Skogsängen in Eskilstuna several times.

In Skogsängen, the fireworks caused a fire in a paper basket that fortunately did not spread before residents in the area were able to extinguish it.

No one has been suspected of any crime in connection with the firing, but the police have spoken with several young people and explained the inappropriate - and illegal - nature of using fireworks in this way.
