Police head to Umeå city center due to reports that a man was beaten. A report of an assault is taken up. There is currently no known suspect person. The man is taken by police to medical care.

02:04 Attempted robbery, Umeå
Reports come in that an attempted robbery occurred at 01:00 in Rådhusparken in central Umeå. Unknown persons allegedly used force to try to get valuables from a man, but did not get away with anything. The report is filed and the incident is being investigated, including the examination of the suspected crime scene, surveillance cameras are being checked, and interviews are being conducted. 02:11 Assault, Umeå
Police receive reports that a man was assaulted on Rådhusesplanaden at 01:45. A report is taken up. There is currently no known suspect.

A wildlife accident at Jomark, Robertsfors municipality, has been reported to the police during the night. There are no reports of personal injuries.
