Night before Christmas Eve has offered a bit of chaos and commotion in the region. No more serious crimes have, however, come to the police's knowledge. 

Sunne, 23.54. Illegal threats. Police are alerted to a fight between two people at an address in Sunne. In connection with this, a person, a man in his 35s, is suspected of illegal threats and vandalism.

Torsby, 00.08. Police are alerted to a fight between guests and security guards at a bar in Torsby. A person, a man in his 20s, is suspected of violent resistance and threats against an official.

Sunne, 01.06, assault. Police are alerted to a brawl at a campsite. A man in his 35s is suspected of assaulting a man in his 20s. 

Police have conducted a number of checks on people and vehicles during the night without taking further action.  In Värmland, 17 people were taken into custody during the night according to the Law on the Detention of Intoxicated Persons (LOB).
