The police are investigating a possible robbery that is said to have occurred on E4 in Älvkarleby municipality.

It is the driver himself, a man in his 45s, who calls the police about the robbery that is said to have occurred when the driver stopped at a gas station on his way north.

The driver is said to have been both robbed and beaten by suspected perpetrators who are said to have taken some personal belongings with them. The suspected perpetrators are also said to have tried to seize the man's car key, but failed.

A short time later, a police patrol can meet the man. A report of robbery is drawn up with unknown suspects. The driver showed injuries, but was not in need of any medical care.
