A police patrol discovers a ongoing fight outside a restaurant on Stora torget in central Uppsala.

In connection with the fight, a man in his 20s is said to have received blows and kicks from several people while he was lying on the ground. Someone is also said to have run away from the scene.

An interrogation is conducted on the spot and a report of aggravated assault is drawn up, without a suspect.

It is unclear if the assaulted man needs to seek medical care.
