Around 01:00, information was received that a driver had fled from a police patrol in connection with an attempt to stop and check. This occurred in Strängnäs. After just a few minutes, the driver was stopped in the central area. A person was handcuffed. No one is said to have been injured in connection with the incident. The man, who is in his 20s, is initially taken into custody for intoxication but is later arrested suspected of driving under the influence of drugs and gross negligence in traffic. 

In addition, the police have handled cases related to mental health and made other routine checks on their own initiative or after receiving a call from the public.
