Since midnight, five people in Sundsvall have been taken into custody in accordance with the Law on the Taking into Custody of Intoxicated Persons. Two people have also been taken in for testing following suspicion of narcotics influence.

Three people have been taken into custody in Örnsköldsvik and one person has been taken in for testing following suspicion of minor narcotics offenses. Even in Härnösand, a person was taken into custody who is also suspected of using narcotics. 

During the night, the police in Sundsvall arrested a 35-year-old man who is suspected of assaulting a woman he has a relationship with. After questioning, the prosecutor has decided to detain the man. There are no reports that the woman needed to visit a hospital.

Police stop and check a car on E4 Älandsbro. The driver, a 20-year-old man, is suspected of being under the influence of narcotics and is taken in for testing. A report is filed for driving under the influence of narcotics and narcotics offenses.

Police are contacted regarding a car accident in Arnäsvall where high music is being played. Police go there. A driver is fined for playing high and disturbing music. The gathering is dispersed.

Police issue a fine to a driver who played high music along Viktoriaesplanaden. 

Other: Two wildlife accidents without personal injury have been reported to the police. They occurred in the morning in Torrsjö, Njurunda, Sundsvall municipality, and on länsväg 1075 in Getingstabodum, Gideå, Örnsköldsvik municipality.
