Reports from the accident site to SOS Alarm state that a driver initiated a passing maneuver and shortly thereafter collided head-on with an oncoming driver. 
Three people are reported to be involved in the accident, all of whom are awake and able to speak – one complains of pain in the leg. No one is seriously injured. 

Traffic is affected in the direction from Karlstad to Säffle, just before Värmlandsbron, and is completely closed. The prognosis is set to between 30 to 60 minutes. 

Police are on their way to the site to investigate the incident and direct traffic. 

Update 12:58: Traffic is being released in one lane and will be directed alternately.
