August 8 14.19, Motor vehicle, theft, Örnsköldsvik

Just before midnight on Thursday, the police initiated a pursuit of a quad bike in Örnsköldsvik. The pursuit was interrupted but shortly thereafter the quad bike was found and later the suspected driver who was sitting in a car.

He was taken for a blood test after suspicion of narcotics influence and was then taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons. 

In addition to gross drug driving, he is also suspected of gross unlawful driving,  appropriation of a vehicle (the quad bike) and narcotics offence. 

The suspect is a 35-year-old man.
