Shortly after midnight, an accident occurred with a so-called EPA tractor in central Rättvik. A 15-year-old girl who was on the trailer of the vehicle during transport fell off the trailer when the vehicle swerved. She was taken to hospital by ambulance. She was then awake and able to speak, but the extent of her injuries is unclear. The driver was a 16-year-old girl. A report has been filed for reckless driving.

At 02:30, information arrived that a passenger car had been driven off the road along Rv70 south of Rättvik. A 30-year-old man who was near the vehicle when the police arrived is suspected of drunk driving. He complained of chest pains and was taken to hospital by ambulance for examination.
