A matter that the police and rescue services have had to handle is a fire in a deserted house in Askersund municipality. At 01:30, a motorist on the road between Askersund and Åmmeberg reported that there was a fire with open flames a bit from the road, north of Gransjön. When the rescue services arrived, they found that it was a deserted house that had burned down to the ground more or less.
