Police are contacted after two people entered a residence in Kåbo, Uppsala.

During a confrontation with the residents of the residence, the two people injured a man with a blunt object.

The police rushed to the scene but upon arrival, the perpetrators had already left.

The man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, the man was awake and able to speak at the time.

The scene was cordoned off and a technical investigation was conducted at the scene during the day.

The case is being investigated as attempted murder. At present, there is no one detained in the case.
