A selection of last night's police activity.
The hours of 00-07, nine people have been apprehended for drunkenness, of which one is suspected to be under the influence of narcotics. The police have also carried out a number of checks on people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.

00:09 Harassment/Provocation, Timrå
Reports are coming in that high music is being played from a vehicle on Lill-Strimmas road in Sörberge. The police go there and two fines are issued due to provocative behavior by playing music loudly.
00:31 Traffic control, Sundsvall
At the control on Haga in Sundsvall, three fines are issued and two driver's licenses are confiscated due to speeding offenses. The highest measured speed was 80 kilometers per hour on a 40-kilometer stretch.
00:38 Assault, Sundsvall
The police go to a pub in Stenstan after reports of a fight. It is not ongoing when the police arrive. According to initial reports, two men are involved. A report of assault and unlawful threats is being taken up.

A fine is issued to a driver who drives on a pedestrian path in Sollefteå.
04:14 Knife law, Sundsvall
Reports are coming in that a drunk man with a knife is in Inre Hamnen in Sundsvall. The police go out and work on the matter. A report of a crime against the knife law is to be drawn up.

On E4 at Njurunda, three fines are issued due to speeding offenses. The highest measured speed was 104 kilometers per hour on an 80-kilometer stretch. It was also checked for sobriety, and all were without comment.
