August 27, 14.36, Traffic Control, Östergötland County

During week 34, a national traffic week was conducted with a focus on speed checks in densely populated areas. It could be about the police being outside schools, residential areas or in the city center.

Police Region East is divided into three police areas: Södermanland, Östergötland and Jönköping. And in total in the region, more than 800 drivers were reported for exceeding speed limits. 273 of these drivers were between 6-9 km/h over posted speed.

Eleven motorcyclists, two in Södermanland, three in Östergötland and six in Jönköping, were reported for exceeding speed limits.
