Advice to reduce the risk of being exposed to crime/theft:

 • Lock the quad bike: Check that the ignition lock is locked and that the vehicle is secured in its frame in another object, preferably with both chain and lock. This also applies if the vehicle is on a trailer.

• Store indoors: Park the quad bike in a garage or on a well-lit area if possible. It is advantageous if the location is alarmed and equipped with surveillance cameras.

• Remove the key: Store car keys in a safe place. Preferably as far from the outer door or in the jacket pocket as possible.

• Install tracking devices: Use GPS puck or other DNA marking with tracking possibility in real-time.

• Mark the vehicle as stolen: Mark the chassis and parts with a theft protection marking that makes them harder to sell.

• Park in an inaccessible location: Avoid leaving the vehicle visible near a road and park where it is difficult to load it onto a trailer or similar.
