The police are searching for a missing man and now need the public's help. The man, who is 80 years old, disappeared after driving from Kallinge airport this morning on Tuesday, August 19. The man may have been seen in the vicinity of Tving in Karlskrona municipality.

The man is driving a blue Dacia Logan and was dressed in black trousers, black jacket, grey shirt, white T-shirt and has glasses. The man is 185 cm tall and weighs approximately 80 kg. The man, according to a reporting relative, has difficulty moving.

Update: The man is still missing and has likely driven wrong after leaving Kallinge airport. When contacted by the police, before the man's mobile phone stopped working, he states that he drove into a ditch.

At present, the police search area is large and all observations are of interest. The man is a resident of Tingsryd municipality and the notice is therefore also posted in Kronoberg County.
