The police are searching for a missing man and now need the public's help. The man, who is in his 80s, went missing after driving away from Kallinge airport this morning on Tuesday, August 19. The man may have been seen in the vicinity of Tving in Karlskrona municipality.

The man is traveling in a blue Dacia Logan and was dressed in black trousers, black jacket, grey sweater, white T-shirt and has glasses. The man is 185 cm tall and weighs approximately 80 kg. The man, according to reporting relatives, has difficulty moving.

Update: The man is still missing and has probably driven wrong after leaving Kallinge airport. Upon contact with the police, before the man's mobile phone stopped working, he states that he drove into a ditch.

At present, the police search area is large and all observations are of interest. The man is a resident of Tingsryd municipality and the notice is therefore also posted in Kronoberg County.
