Police were summoned to a residence in Vimmerby municipality due to a suspected assault. A 35-year-old man is suspected, among other things, of having punched and kicked a 30-year-old woman. An interrogation is conducted and the man is apprehended suspected of aggravated assault. After a decision by the prosecutor, the man has been detained.
