A man has died and a man is injured, both in their 30s. Relatives of the deceased man have been informed.

The injured man is taken to medical care by ambulance. The man is suspected of murder and will be questioned and the prosecutor will be contacted to decide whether he should be arrested or not.

The investigative work continues and initial investigative measures are still being taken. The suspected crime scene, which is outdoors in central Kiruna, is cordoned off and police technicians will investigate it. The information gathering continues.

Police assessment is that it is a isolated incident.
