Alarm was received that a person had been hit by a vehicle on Västra vägen in Gävle and the police were dispatched to the scene.

The person hit by the vehicle, a teenager, was checked by ambulance personnel after the incident but it is unclear if the person needed to be taken to hospital. 

There is initially no suspicion of a crime in connection with the incident.
