Police regional command center has handled around 20 cases related to Södermanland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

Head-on collision outside Nyköping
06:28 an alarm is received about a traffic accident on county road 219 in Svärta where two passenger cars are believed to have collided head-on. The two people involved are both awake and able to speak after the accident. One of them has been taken to hospital by ambulance. The accident has resulted in a stop in both lanes on the stretch. Recovery teams for both vehicles have been ordered to the accident site. 

Update 07:57: Both drivers have been taken to hospital as a result of the accident. 

Police have, in addition to this, carried out various routine checks on their own initiative or following reports from the public.
