When a police patrol tries to stop a vehicle on E4, Töre, the driver chooses to drive away from the police, who then initiate a pursuit. The vehicle is stopped on a railway track in Morjärv.

The driver, a man, tries to run away from the scene but is apprehended. He is suspected of being under the influence of narcotics and will be taken in for testing. The man does not have a valid driver's license and has a knife.

The incident is being investigated for offenses including gross drug-related driving, gross traffic recklessness, unauthorized driving, violation of the knife law, and minor drug offenses (use) and failure to follow police instructions.

After questioning, the prosecutor has decided to detain the man.

Police patrol is dispatched to a pub in Innerstaden where a man is reported to have assaulted another man. The patrol makes a report.

Other:
Seven people have been taken into custody for public intoxication. One of these is suspected of violent resistance and threats against a public official in connection with the apprehension.

Police have also conducted checks on individuals and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of criminal activity.
