Police patrol was called out to the airport in the afternoon to pick up a sea eagle. A plane had collided with the eagle, which was then put down due to its injuries. According to the prevailing routine regarding animals belonging to the state's wildlife, the police patrol picked up the animal.

The incident is not currently being handled as a wildlife accident.
