After a woman had gone shopping in a store in central Hudiksvall, she was pulled away from her hand by a bag. The incident is said to have occurred outside the store and according to the woman, who is in her 80s, it was several young people who then ran from the scene.

A short while later, a police patrol found five young people who matched the description. Four of them, three boys and a 15-17-year-old girl, were arrested on suspicion of serious theft.

After a decision by the prosecutor, all four suspects were released on bail. The suspicions against the four remain, however. The fifth person, a minor boy, is also suspected of serious theft.

The woman was not physically injured in connection with the incident.
