The accident and the work related to the accident lead to the Essingeleden being initially closed in the northbound direction with extensive queueing as a result.

Even southbound traffic is affected, as two lanes are blocked by rescue vehicles.

The car driver's injury status is unclear.

The truck driver has no physical injuries at all.
