Vid 19-tiden inkommer larm från flera personer om att det har hörts smällar vid en busshållplats i Årby i Eskilstuna. A man is found injured and is taken to hospital by ambulance. Injury extent unclear.

A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been launched. No one has been arrested at this time.

The area around the bus stop is cordoned off and we are working to interview witnesses on the scene. A technical investigation will be conducted.

Update 21:50:

The man, who is in his 20s, has died from his injuries. Next of kin have been notified.
