18.02 an alarm is sounded for an accident on state road 40 in a westerly direction, at the height of Bottnaryd. A passenger car has driven off the road and lies in the ditch. There are long queues in a westerly direction. The driver is awake and able to speak, and has been taken to hospital. The accident is being investigated as carelessness in traffic. 

19.00 an alarm is sounded for a traffic accident near the intersection between road 688 and state road 40, 1.5 kilometers east of the previous accident. Here, two passenger cars have collided. No person is supposed to be injured.
