Alarm was received about a traffic accident on road 56 shortly east of Sala. The police rushed to the scene where a truck and a passenger car were involved in a head-on collision. A total of two people were traveling in the two vehicles.

The driver of the passenger car died in connection with the accident. Relatives of the person who is feared to have died have been informed. 

The police will investigate how the accident occurred. Out of consideration for the relatives and those involved, no further information will be provided about the incident.
