April 14, 16.44, Scam, Stockholm

During the evening and afternoon, two elderly women in western Stockholm have been victims of completed scams.
Both women have first received SMS from a sender who claimed to be a car rental company that requires a rented car to be returned.
Neither of the women has rented a car and when they called back to inform this, they were instructed to gather their gold so that someone from an insurance company would pick up the gold at their home. 

Both incidents are classified as serious scams. The value of the goods that the perpetrators have acquired is unknown. 

Never call back on phone numbers stated in unexpected SMS or emails!
Find the number to the company or authority you want to contact yourself. 

Never leave gold, bank cards or other valuable items to people who make home visits!
No serious actors pick up gold at private homes on their own initiative to protect against crimes.
