Police received a report of a vehicle in Tranås driving south. A subsequent investigation was initiated and the police managed to stop the vehicle on road 964 north of Flisby when it ended up in a ditch. Two men were in the car. Rescue services and an ambulance are on their way and work is being carried out at the scene.

At the moment, the extent of the damage and the legal situation are unclear.

17:09 Two men are arrested, one in his 40s and one in his 50s.

17:11 The initial legal situation is gross negligence in traffic and driving under the influence. This may be changed and expanded.

17:19 The car will be towed from the scene.

17:37 The two arrested men are taken to hospital by ambulance for examination.
