Vid 06:15-tiden alarmed the police about several calls that had seen an elk on the wrong side of the wildlife fence near the traffic intersection Härad on E20, in the direction of Stockholm.

Due to the high speed limit and traffic intensity, the police went there to prevent traffic accidents and alert drivers to the elk.

Even a search hunter was called out to the scene, in case the elk needed to be put down.

At 08:00, the wildlife fence could be cut open, and the elk could be returned to the right side of the fence. The police have been able to leave the scene.
