Since midnight, ten people in Sundsvall have been taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the taking into custody of intoxicated persons. One of them was handed over to a relative. Two people were taken into custody in Örnsköldsvik, one of whom was handed over to medical care. A person in Härnösand was taken in for a blood test due to suspicion of narcotics influence.

Summary of the police's work at cruising in Sollefteå:

The evening turned out as expected with a lot of people and a lot of cars at the rest stop in Sollefteå. Very many young people visited the cruising and the intoxicating substances were high. The police had a good cooperation with the field group from social services. It was also pleasing that there were a lot of adults on the site.

Four people were taken into custody according to the LOB, the law on the taking into custody of intoxicated persons, two of whom were handed over to guardians. Social services took six to seven people into custody.

Two reports of drunk driving were drawn up.

A report was filed regarding assault.

A lot of fines were issued for various traffic offenses.

The party was closed down due to disorderly conduct at 01:00 after a decision by the police. This was because it became too chaotic at the rest stop and rockets were fired into the crowd of people.

Summary of the police's work at Saturday's events in Sundsvall municipality:

The police ensured that the motorcycle procession at the annual motorcycle day in Sundsvall could be carried out without major disruption to traffic and without major disorderly conduct and damage to person or vehicle. This was done with the help of police cars and motorcycle police. Over 400 motorcycles are said to have participated in the journey from Gärde to central Sundsvall, which took about 20 minutes.

Everything went smoothly and no incidents were reported to the police operations manager during the day. The organizer was very satisfied with the police's work.

The police had informed the public about the event in advance so that alternative routes could be chosen. Some congestion occurred, but the public showed only understanding. The procession had to be broken up at one point when an ambulance was passing by.
