04:01 The police and ambulance were called to Östra Storgatan in Jönköping due to an assault. A security guard had come across a man who was beaten and unconscious. The man, who is in his 20s, was taken to hospital by ambulance for examination.
After witness questioning at the scene, an investigation could be started after two suspected perpetrators. One of these was later arrested at Lillsjöplan. He is now suspected of assault but is no longer under arrest.
