On E6 in a northerly direction, a driver refuses to stop at a police officer's signal and a pursuit begins. Inside central Varberg, the police patrol is forced to drive into the pursued vehicle to stop the journey. The driver and a passenger can be apprehended as suspects for theft of a motor vehicle, narcotics offence, driving under the influence of drugs, reckless driving, gross careless driving, and failure to stop at a police officer's signal. The vehicle turned out to be newly stolen. No personal injuries.
