The police were alerted to a residence in northwestern Stockholm following reports of a woman being assaulted by her father. When the police arrived at the residence, the suspected perpetrator had left the scene but was later apprehended by the police.

The victim, who was awake and able to speak when the patrol arrived, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The residence is being investigated by forensic technicians and an interrogation is being conducted.

The police have initiated an investigation into aggravated assault.
