A man in his 80s in central Stockholm calls the police after coming into contact with suspected fraudsters who wanted his account number and other details. No one has visited his home, but the individuals are said to have been able to control his computer remotely. 
After an officer has met and spoken with the man, it appears that the crime was not completed. No money has been withdrawn from the man's accounts, and the police therefore file a report of attempted aggravated fraud.
