The police regional command center has handled between 22.00-07.00 a number of 50 cases related to Södermanland County.

23:24 – Vandalism, Katrineholm
A caller reports that someone is trying to get into an apartment by climbing a ladder. The police arrive at a residential area in Skogsborg, but find no person who can be the one reported. In connection with the area being checked, a broken window to a door is found. A report of vandalism is made. There are no indications that the person in question has managed to break into someone else's home. 

02:13 – Attempted murder, Oxelösund
The police are alerted that two women were being chased by a man near a residential area in Oxelösund. The man is also said to have tried to harm the two women with a sharp object. The police later meet the man in question in a residence. The man, in his 20s, is arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder. The police have taken various items into custody and will continue to investigate through questioning. Neither of the affected parties is said to have suffered physical harm in connection with the events of the night. The suspect is later detained by the prosecutor, who now leads the case. 

Aside from this, the police have made other routine checks on their own initiative or after a call from the public.
