Several people have called the police's command center regarding a loud bang that is said to have been heard in Söder in Gävle.

In the subsequent investigation work, the police have cordoned off a location on Södra Kungsgatan.

No person has been injured in the incident, which the police are investigating as a case of malicious destruction of property and a violation of the law on flammable and explosive goods.
