12:00-7:00 AM, three people have been taken into custody for intoxication. The police have also checked a number of people and vehicles without resulting in any suspicion of a crime.

Three wildlife accidents and two moose collisions have been reported to the police during the night. No personal injuries have been reported.

12:03 AM, Piteå

There is a fire in a dumpster at Sundsgatan in the city center, with smoke development as a result. The fire is extinguished by the fire department.

A man is arrested, suspected of starting the fire. An interrogation is held and a report is filed regarding damage caused by fire.

1:18 AM, Kiruna

A single-vehicle accident has occurred at Forskarevägen/Tarfalavägen. A driver has driven off the road. The involved parties are said to be out of the vehicle, there are no reports of personal injuries.

Police are heading to the scene. The person suspected of driving the vehicle is taken into custody with the support of the LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons. A blood test is also performed as there is suspicion of drunk driving. 

1:30 AM, Älvsbyn

A driver is stopped for a check in the city center. The driver blows positively in the police's sorting instrument and suspicion of drunk driving arises. A blood test is performed and the person blows below the punishable limit. Not a crime.

2:12 AM, Piteå

Police are ordered to the Zonområdet due to a disturbance. Several people are said to be on the scene.

When the police arrive, several people run away. One person is taken into custody with the support of the LOB, the law on the apprehension of intoxicated persons. 

A report is filed regarding assault.

4:39 AM, Boden

A single-vehicle accident has occurred at Riksväg 97, Vittjärv. A driver has spun out.

The driver is taken to the hospital. The police will investigate how the accident occurred.
