The police have been working with a series of traffic controls on Gotland throughout the day. So far, traffic controls have been conducted on Visbyleden, Endrevägen in Visby and Storgatan in Hemse.

The man suspected of driving under the influence was stopped and checked instead on the northern part of the island where a police patrol was also present during the day. His driver's license was confiscated after a test.
