Shortly after 20:00, the police were alerted to a brawl that had taken place at Stadsparken in central Eskilstuna. According to initial information, a person was said to have carried a type of sharp object. When the police arrived, the information gathering began to find out what actually happened. The police were then informed that a man was said to have approached another and waved a sharp object. A man suspected of being involved was apprehended on the spot, and was then arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. No one involved is said to have been injured in connection with the incident. What led to the whole thing is unclear.
