The regional police headquarters has handled around 70 cases between 22.00-07.00 that concern Östergötland county.

00:25 – Assault, Norrköping
Police are alerted that a woman has been assaulted by a man in Norrköping. The man is said to have hit the woman in some way. When the police arrive at an apartment in Hageby, a man is found who is suspected of assault of a normal degree. The man, who is in his mid-30s, is apprehended and later held in custody by the prosecutor. The affected woman has not come to serious harm in connection with the assault. 

Since the late Monday evening, the police have, in addition to this, carried out a number of routine checks on their own initiative or after a tip from the public.
