A number of people call the police to report that they have seen a robbery attempt. Private individuals on the scene run after the perpetrator and then apprehend the suspect.

Apprehension by one means that a private person can apprehend someone who has committed a crime, under certain conditions. The apprehended person should be handed over to the police as soon as possible.

The apprehension is taken over by the police and the suspect is taken in for further questioning. Medical care will attend to the victim of the crime.

An investigation into the robbery has been initiated - at present, it is unclear whether the perpetrator managed to take anything during the robbery.
