During the evening, police were contacted about people setting off firecrackers in a community outside Skellefteå. Several people contacted the police. The firecrackers were reportedly set off near cars in a parking lot, among other places. 

Police attended the scene. A number of people were checked, but at this time there is no suspect in the case. A report of vandalism and an offence under the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods has been filed.
