Police were called to Vårberg in southern Stockholm during the night into Wednesday following a report that a man had suffered stab wounds. 

The victim was found and taken to hospital. His injuries were assessed as serious but not life-threatening. 

Police arrested two suspected perpetrators and launched a preliminary investigation into attempted murder or manslaughter. The individuals were later detained by a prosecutor on Wednesday.
