It has been a quiet night for the police in the mountains without serious crimes or events.
Ludvika municipality at 04:02: A road user called the police about a passenger car where the driver and passengers appeared to be too young to have a driver's license. A police patrol was able to find and stop the car north of Ludvika with the help of the caller's description.
The driver turned out to be a girl who had not yet turned 15 and therefore lacks a driver's license, had taken her parents' car without permission. Passengers were three children of approximately the same age as the driver. All parents were notified by the patrol and were able to come to the scene and pick up their children.
The driver was guilty of unauthorized driving but since she had not reached the age of criminal responsibility, the case will be handed over to social services.
