The driver continues at sometimes very high speeds northwards on E4, westwards towards Järva and southwards through Spånga. During the pursuit, several different stop attempts are made with both spike mats and roadblocks.
A final stop is made in Bromma's blocks in connection with the fleeing driver being spiked by two patrols.
The driver is a man in his 20s. He is detained and initially suspected of gross negligence in traffic and driving under the influence of alcohol.
During the pursuit, several collisions with police cars have occurred at different locations. At least one police officer has been injured and needs to be checked by medical staff.
The majority of collisions involving police cars are about the driver's vehicle being spiked. Five police cars are said to need to be towed. The driver's vehicle also needs to be towed.
