Under early morning an alarm was raised for an SOS about a suspected fire in a building in Stenstaliden. Inquirers had smelled smoke and it was also smoke-filled in the stairwell. 
During smoke diving, a person is found in the apartment and this is removed by ambulance with unclear injury status.

The fire is said to have started in the bed according to the initial reports. 

The person has died this morning from their injuries. It is a man in his 60s. Relatives have been informed of the death.
Police have initiated an investigation in accordance with routine regarding gross negligence for further investigation into the incident.
