A general public observes a man, whom the informant suspects is intoxicated, who jumps into a car on Öster Mälarstrand and drives away.

Several police patrols are ordered to the location to search for the vehicle. A short time later, the vehicle is found and a check can be carried out.

The driver, a man in his 45s, blows positively in the police's control instrument and due to severe intoxication, he is taken into custody in accordance with the LOB, the law on the taking into custody of intoxicated persons.

A report will be drawn up regarding gross drunk driving.
