The police are on the scene in central Kristianstad due to a suspected hazardous object. 

The public has found a package and the patrol cannot determine if it is something hazardous or not. The National Bomb Squad will make an assessment from a distance to determine if they need to dispatch or not. 

Update: The area is cordoned off and it is forbidden to move inside the cordon. The National Bomb Squad is on its way to the scene for assessment and is expected to be on site at the latest 15.00.
